I have owned and worked a part time house call practice in Utah.
I have had then opportunity to help several families when it was time to euthanise their dogs.
It was always a very spiritual and amazing time.
But, there were always times when I worried about "what if's" and some moments when I had to "wing it" not knowing if what I was doing was the best or most efficient way.
This book and Dr. Cooney really covered in detail some of my worst case scenario worries and I will now go more confidently into the night!
(Ok...and maybe even try to work on my catheter skills and consider going confidently on my own without having to find a tech to ride with me on those emergency call outs).
